I am hearing rumors and talk of cost reductions in EMTEC. I know of several employees that transfered from EMTEC research upstream to production. The reason they gave was the upcoming personnel reductions. Any insight would be helpfull but please no false information or jokes. I need to plan my next few years.

The leadership in EMTEc want to send every job to BTC… and they are proud of it….
It is about time they layoff people who joined EMTEC from CSR, New Jersey, URC, Spring and anyone else who is draining the life of the corporation. These people will destroy the company and other hard working employees. Look around and identify the so called Ph.D.'s from these two companies and notice how they are fully invested in "meetings" and "boot licking"
@1adr+1uxvlAGX this has always been a part of the same strategy that included 2020 layoffs.
“ Stop with the racism.”
Proceeds to go on a racist rant.
“India emoloyees are just doing doing a job, maming a living”
Perfect example of the quality outcomes we can expect. Just emoloyees doing doing a job… maming a living 🥴
Stop with the racism. India emoloyees are just doing doing a job, maming a living
Americans like you are a discgrace to humanity, everybody hates you guys. Your stupid politics, d-mb beliefs and sense of entitlement is very off putting. All you have done is land grabbed and wiped out other populations, you the most animal form of all humans.
Because humans care for eachother, thats what makes them different from animals.
T in EMTEC is technology and technical. EMTEC employees don't have either skills. Might as well give it to monkeys and they will atleast do something.
EMTEC shifting to India is correct, but not in 5 years, that was the plan when oil was expected to be in the $85-$100/barrel. With oil down below $70 and trending lower with a recession coming, the plan is now 2-3 years. Most jobs in Spring will be moved to operating units, overseas, BTC, KLTC, Argentina, and other low cost countries, others eliminated. Best be updating your resume and looking around now.
Great I am on the 5 to 6 year retirement plan. I need only 3 years but I could stay a few more. So they can outsource the whole thing after a few years. I have my next career planed either staying home or working part time. It is good to know though for the younger ones.
EMTEC leadership has been told to shift the majority of their workforce to India over the next 5 years. They are currently debating what to put into Company Plan, communications plan, and at what speed they can actually move.
The goal will be to keep the shift as quiet as possible to not have mass attrition as they shift the workforce. One of the options is to boost MLRP to 10% to further accelerate the US folks to leave.
If you’re not in India, you have no future in EMTEC
EMTEC is overhead with negative return. VP is relatively weak compared to peers and is just a puppet. Yes, if you have long term aspirations to win, look for opportunities outside of EMTEC, especially in upstream. Op, you read it well.
