Don’t say anything. Just accept the new job and sign your paperwork on Nov 15.
I didn't and they will never know. F em

No. You can take the severance and leave anytime. You can sign the docs before Nov 15 and tell them you’re outta here and that you don’t need the extra services.
Yes. It is a required by law.
Fu-k no. Start the new job as soon as you can and return the Cisco laptop on your last day. Don't check messages or emails. You are not expected to work
Nope…. F@ck ‘em
Double dip if you can!
dont use any pto - cisco will buy it all back -- take the 2 months to relax, look at other jobs, do not officially leave until the very last possible minute which is November 15 or so - you cannot even accept your severance until that day on line - its simple but do not quit during the 2 month transition period.
You only need to report to Cisco if you find another job at Cisco within those 2 months but not for external jobs.
No why would you… they care nothing about you… in fact folks should go on unlimited pto and get a 2nd job!
Did they report to you last month when they announced layoffs?
He-l no. I’m not going to, that’s for sure.
