Manager MIA???

I am concerned for my manager. They unexpectedly took the last part of last week off without any notice other than a note to our team. I have remained hopeful that he's not impacted, however we have not heard from his at all yet today. Nothing stating he's back from last minute PTO. Would our team have been notified already if he's been LR'd? I have no team meeting invites suggesting that we would be informed as such and I am hoping that I am just paranoid. How would we be made aware if he's impacted and would it have happened already?

yes, someone from HR or the org would be required to notify you if the mgr is not available to do it.

I had a director that was so disgusted with a layoff that he stopped coming into work. He was gone over month before they finally realized he was not coming back. He went completely silent. It was awesome

Managers are on FTO so they don't have to deal with direct contacts from their employees so HR can just handle it. If the manager isn't on FTO, he's likely to be cut.
