New York office consolidating

1515 broadway is being consolidated down to just a couple floors

Lots of tech meetings with Oracles people too. I bet they’re preparing to take over our tech and lay everyone off even after the merger.

Great time for sarcasm.

I left the comment about the "blueprints" for Caesar's in an attempt to bring levity to an already stressful situation for us all. The lack of critical thinking and inability to detect sarcasm on the part of many is a solid confirmation for me as to why I need to take my severance package and flee as far away from putrid Paramount as possible. This always was a company with loads (not exclusively) of over-medicated, hive-minded NPC's. What a shame!

From what I heard, the concept blueprints for 1515 Broadway call for a combination Caesar's Palace/Hotel and discrete Skydance/Oracle office space with an agreement for Caesar's to have its name prominently on the front facade. The first level will have a food court just beyond the blackjack tables and will be shared by casino and hotel guests which will serve as the only break area for Skydance employees. Hospitality's main office and hotel pet grooming will be located conveniently adjacent to the Coin Toss, Guess Which Hand and Rock-Scissors-Paper game tables.

Aren’t they planning on putting a casino at 1515…Caesars?

Fake News. The restack is on hold pending discussions with Sky Dance. They were looking to consolidate 15-22 floors because nobody is in the office and they would make money subletting. Oracle is not taking over our tech but it is reasonable to assume we will be doing more business with them. It's no shock that Oracle wants to be the media cloud of the future and use Paramount to drive that. That being said we have existing contracts with other cloud providers so we can't just move.

Whoever said Wiser has been asleep for a few years clearly has no idea what they are talking about. He is one of the smartest media tech executives in the industry and I am sure he is not going anywhere unless it is his choice. It's streaming tech who has been asleep for years bleeding the company's money.

They’ll move the tech to Silicon Valley. Oracle has OCI Media and they’ve been trying to get it off the ground forever. Expect AWS to unwind as they spin up. Phil Wiser has been asleep for a few years, they quietly prepared his successor a couple of months ago.
