Company grow 3 times since 2010, layoffs reach less than 5% of expat force however 25% of western expat force, those remaining received the message and are ready to quit and leave in their terms and in some cases, became runners. Dont be surprise if your supervisor ask you to postpone your vacation or even forbid your weekend trip to Bahrain.

Yes, cars sales were always a good barometer of impending exits.
Another indicator for runners, car sales board, now with a huge offers and inventory.
Runnners are those with less of 4 years, they dont have the same benefits and join when the toxicity rise without control. Incredibly, my manager choose to report as a quit for family reasons one runner, they try to cover it to avoid the scrutiny within VP levels.
My advice is.....renew your loan now. Run up your credit card. And when you receive the good news about being laid off, schedule the movers, try to sell the car and hop a taxi to Bahrain!!! The Saudi's are too lazy to come after you.
