Hertz lost in the court of appeals and now has to pay $272 million as a result of their "extravagant" bankruptcy. This will no doubt require another Chapter 11 filing. Get out now while you can because they don't have the $272 million to even pay it. It was a fun 100+ years while it lasted. SMG was cautiously optimistic about this legal case, but now, even they are waving the white flag. Goodbye Hertz.
