Is stress leave a possibility?

Has anyone here ever taken stress leave? I’m curious about a few things. Firstly, is it unpaid, or can you get something if you see a doctor? Secondly, do you have to visit a doctor in person, or can you just call? I'm at my breaking point and I'd be grateful for any insights.

See a professional and tell them how you are feeling good or bad and how your work makes you feel.

They will be able to provide assistance and determine if you qualify for Short Term Disability.

I second seeing a therapist or a doctor. Just not one through Lyra. They aren’t allowed to say anything and will sign your documents for short term and then possibly long term disability. I almost did it last December and my doc said they would sign it, but I chickened out because I hate not working. Then again, now I just sit around in an office tues-thurs not really working. Maybe I should have done it. Could be long term now and I could calmly look for something that isn’t going to trigger panic attacks.

I deal with stress by all keeping a blunt rolled up in my vehicle. On bad days I sneak off into the parking garage and get me a few hits to get through the day. If you are not a smoker keep you a bottle of Russian Vodka in your desk drawer, it works well with the coffee and the snitches around you can’t smell it.

Cheers

Hey B-a, I heard once you get 20 years you are untouchable. Crown will not let you go due to the cost of severance.
Fly under the radar and don’t rock the boa!

I have been hanging around Crown for over 20 years as part of the Good Ole Boy Network. Should I be concerned, I think my white privilege is paying off in the Gulf States.

See someone you can talk to, take short term disability. As a manager I have helped folks in similar situations. Works not worth it.

I know someone who took leave of that sort. Never came back. I believe they were looking to terminate him. He was a supervisor.
