When I read the email about this c r a c k head idea a couple months back I couldn’t believe it. The ideas c suite and Kubasik come up with are so pathetic and embarrassing. So they want us to gather a team and design a product on our own time and if your team gets picked yall get some money and if your team isn’t picked you wasted your time. Csuite must be drowning in all the submissions they’re getting.

Who dares to get a compilation of ideas and send it public with no employee names and no company name?
I assumed it would crash and burn, but 800 people submitted 67 ideas
that made it past the first round of idea pruning. People are scared or
gullible or a mix of the two.

“L3 Harris possesses every idea concept or plan that you develop while under their employ. It's called intellectual property and they own it because they own you. It should come as no surprise that they want you to do this on your own time. Now they can just say we're taking your idea and we're not going to pay you. But, you must like it this way otherwise you wouldn't still be working there so good luck.“
They don’t if I keep my mind open and mouth shut.

You want my idea for free now? F-k U
A few years ago they wanted us to have "goals" in our performance objectives that were not part of our work assignments. Some managers (well just one really) wanted people to read up on some topic, become an "expert" and then present a paper at a conference!
Lockheed Martin actually has some kind of venture capital arm where they invest in small tech startups; Boeing and other giants no doubt have something similar. Maybe the Qube doesn't have the cash for that sort of thing.
Interesting. I wonder if this is DCAA compliant for timekeeping?
I'm sure it must be, but if the company gets technology for free, then doesn't this mean the hours need to be charged?
simpsons did it
The Lunar Prospector probe was the result of a similar program at Johnson Space Center. Engineers from NASA and contractors worked after hours and on weekends to develop the concept, requirements, and preliminary design. NASA eventually adopted it as a real program and funded it. Their visions became a reality.
I have one that is called me, that is what I develop on my personal time. These bozos can keep al their riches to themselves, see you in the dirt.
There are enough a$$kissers in the company that will do this.
