Consider your age a liability

In this and every subsequent layoff, the older you are the higher your chance of being let go. Some younger employees will be added to the mix to avoid being accused of age discrimination, but let's be real, they want to get rid of everybody who makes more than the bare minimum they're willing to pay these days. Just stating facts.

Class action can't happen because discrimination has to be apples to apples. Such as TV news techs laid off all over age 40 or sales people all laid off over 40... Can't mix & match different employment positions - unless like 90% of everybody was over 40

Age a liability ? The older employees who have a pension & job security are the ones that should be retiring - taking a buyout .... Because those with these securities ( age 65 and over) are sc--wing those over 40+ with no pension or job security .... The very old ones are ki-ling the less older ones who will be going nowhere else because they're 40+. Consider your being white & male a local liability

Someone in HR accidentally attached a list in an email to laid of employees, of everyone in nick marketing let go with their titles and ages and a list of if they were staying or going. Can’t make this up. And no, there was no rhyme or reason to the ages let go, probably just needed a balance.

I agree. However, even if the current executives are dismissed, they will leave with golden parachutes and be immediately replaced by equally useless money eaters; thus perpetuating the same vicious cycle of the profits remaining mostly with the top. As far as a class action suit, I'm all for it, but it would be hard to prove. Sign me up.

David Ellison should really look at the salaries of ALL the executives. They get paid a lot to do very little. These executives should be on top of the layoff list not the folks that actually do the work.
