@2qjs Yeah, because outsourcing to India totally wasn’t happening before 2020.

Case in point: Exxon makes you show up to their stupid cube every day, yet they’re still sending your jobs to Bangalore. Make it make sense.

I like how every business publication is trying to blame this on remote work, as if it’s somehow my fault this lady keeled over a thousand miles away from my home office.

Bosses will say anything to get you back into the office. The mandates flopped because people just blew them off, so now I guess they’re going with “people might die if you don’t commute to my stupid piece of commercial property that I overpaid for.” Yeah, F that noise.

Just remember that the majority of WFH home jobs can be done from India for a tenth of what an American can do it for. Maybe even less

It is all OCD crazy.

They don't trust the employees working remotely.

So, they bring them onsite.

But then, they don't trust them onsite either.

So, they bring the obnoxious TSA.

They need a psychiatrist. All nuts.

It was a perk that was reserved for the chosen - the managers and the execs. COVID gave that perk to the masses and the overlords weren't ready to relinquish that power.

The caste system still exists, people.
