I feel like the folks who are trying to raise the alarm on this board are very new to PepsiCo

Sept 16th is the end of employee appreciation week, we always get a half day that week

HR always pesters teams to update something on their employee profile every year, it's either your profile, experiences, or the competency assessment du jour

AOP Is always a sh-t show when it comes to trying to ensure your team has financial coverage. This burden is put on the managers to demonstrate that there is a 1:1 relationship between the work and who is going to do it. It always gets done

And finally, there are layoffs EVERY YEAR, even if your role was planned for in AOP. No, they dont do things like switch from Zoom to Teams just because there are layoffs coming. If you are in IT--sorry S&T, you are NEVER safe from layoff. I saw them lay off people in PGT while it was still in progress in 2021. PepsiCo has operated this way since at least 2014

I don't mean to worry you, but when they asked my team to update our HR profiles it started a process where we were told that our roles were being removed. HR included us in meetings to "help" us find new roles. My recommendation is that you participate because, at the end, if there are no offers for a new role you will at least get a package.

Also, be very careful if you receive a role offer and decline it. This is considered a resignation. No package.
