So many posts that are negative to the company they work for or panicking because Cisco seems to be the only alternative for employment.
Sure, ELT have made many mistakes for the last 15 years, but are still allowed to continue in spite of stock underperforming.
And sure, there are LRs.
But this is the system (capitalism) under which we have great jobs, decent pay, and lots of nice colleagues and co-workers. And with that also a risk of LR.
I'm in sales and I have known hundreds of people LR:ed over the last 10+ years, and almost everyone landed another job (often better in terms of pay) very shortly after the LR. Even older people. So if you like Cisco stay, if you don't .... well you have alternatives. And if you don't, you are in no place to moan.

Clearly we retired the Cisco IQ test if you’re posting this here. Go start an email storm on a Friday afternoon if you have nothing else to do.
OP goes to a layoff forum and is surprised to hear negative comments. Must love CNN and MSNBC…
93% of us are still here post 9/16.
F-k Cisco and all spineless people like you!
You are on an anonymous forum about layoffs. What did you expect genius?
