The current management in Denver, does not know what they are doing. They chase stupid items and over look the real issues. They really have no clue. Dispatch is even worse

Why are they looking for more managers? Why not answer that question 1st. ;)
Lumen, is all messed up. Upper management has no clue. We have systems that do not work. We are not allowed to buy tools and equipment needed. We put customers last, but we put woke programs first
Denver is finding new ways to crush the techs. They will not be happy until each one of us is written up. They are blind to the real issues effecting techs. They are going to use out of garage and link to success. Despite the fact the everything they put in place only hinders there time which effects my monthly numbers. They do not care. Wait until there is no one left to do the work.

Aren't the techs in a union? Nobody left to do the work? Sure there is, the pool of illegal aliens "with skills" is like 30 million large now, lots of them sleeping in Denver and many other cities. If you can't read the writing on the wall then that's the way Denver MGMT likes it.

A leader knows how to identify problems that need solving.
A leader knows how to solve those problems.
A leader knows they don't know everything yet still knows how to get there.
There are countless people in this company who have not a clue yet still get paid.
Is Lumen a "tech" company as it claims? I don't think so. The tech part is being dropped for the more favorable fiber endeavor.
The Lumen-employee field techs were always great to work with, they knew their stuff; the 3rd party guys were always very variable - one guy didn't understand serial ports, for example. Always thought it was nuts that Lumen never figured out how to better capitalize on the great experience they provided and instead saw them only as "expensive".
From a previous post "I agree they are just trying to figure out how to write every tech up. Got to have there thumb on us" you are absolutely correct. I see signs of that in my area, last week got handed one flaming bag of unowwhat after another, wrecked metrics for me for the month. In our area, metrics are the thing that determines whether you get written up and ultimately fired. And the decisions are not made by our management but by a seemingly automated HR process. In 2020 I got written up for something and it looked like a total automation process from HR and, in spite of what I was told, I don't think the write ups roll off your record.

At this point management is leaning hard, and I mean really hard on the seasoned veteran hourly employees who know what needs to be done and are self directed.
80% of the hourly employees either don’t know what to do and or lack the motivation to figure it out,
Then again there are both salaried and hourly employees that have figured out, that they can coast to the end because there is no longer a reward for doing the right thing, and no longer a punishment for the wrong thing .
- everyone here should have a contingency plan for either being laid off or bankruptcy..
The management are definently cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. They should seek help. What a bunch of loosers.
