T's extended family is in TX, she grew up there. The move there is purely self-serving. It won't change until she's no longer calling the shots to her own advantage.

Presumably T wants to move back there and that become the new headquarters instead of NY for rising downtown costs. Probably will close like Denver in a few years. Charlotte probably was supposed to be the new headquarters but didn’t pan out that way evidently.
@3hma+1uf2Vql2 Charlotte is at or almost at max capacity. But they “could” have built a mirror building of 8625 and the 8825 parking garage on the other side (were supposed to in 2000/2001) but nah they put up a disc golf course there after Covid.
But if they did, that would be what maybe another 1,000 people on an already overcrowded campus?
If they did that I’m sure there may have been some fire code or something. Plus not enough of those expensive materials used from 20+ years ago and buildings would look different.
It’s difficult to understand why we have a 15 story office building in Texas. There’s room in Charlotte, no? That’s ALOT of space.
Let’s be honest, even if T moves to Texas it’s not like she’ll be in the office on a regular basis. One person needs to become friends with her personal admin so you all know which day she’s coming in that month.

Most people in the NCC are wonderful, so no one would blame them for wanting time off the phone to hear Roger speak! I hope the prior commenter only meant that people now need to be rewarded/bribed to act excited to see T. Fake cheering now is probably from the EC and her PR department. 🙄
Texas folks better show up when she there. Last time you guys weren’t there and caused us to be office 3 days a week. If a repeat happen I am sure she make us be in office 7 days a week with a someone looks over us with a whip to make sure we are working as hard as possible and no bathroom break. We will be chain to our hotel desk and no only can leave when T says so.
