The cfo isn’t the one deciding on doubling down on dead technology
It needs to be asked why would a CFO take this role helming a company whose market cap is $2billion while the debt load is over $7billion. Not unlike taking the role of captain of the titanic -after- the iceberg. The trajectory won't change but he'll probably make bank with a nice parachute and his move to retirement in Carlsbad paid for.
Hopefully this new CFO can right the ship. Not sure why the old CFO wasn’t sacked?
