Was listening to the salesforce earnings call today and marc b was like “and were working with a legendary hardware company, who just made a giant acquisition, to automate their sales and service teams with agentforce” is he talking about cisco?? He wouldnt name the company but said he has known the ceo for years

Irrelevancy attracts irrelevance
HP is a "legendary hardware company", those others you mention are not.
Yeah, HP with Juniper would be my guess
HPE's last major acquisition was Polycom in 2022. From what I can see they haven't closed on Juniper and might not do so until 2025.
Broadcom's market cap is not far from four times Cisco's and they closed on VMWare for $69B less than a year ago. HPE and Juniper combined are under $37.5B.
Depending on what you call giant and if "just made" includes those that haven't completed, AMD's acquisition of ZT Systems for $4.9B might also qualify.
I'd guess with some digging a bigger list could be created.

HP fits the bill too
Not Cisco
Implying? Why it matters?
