If you look at the alternate business news sites (like ZeroHedge) you will see what they’re worried about. The world economy is shaky right now and the U.S. media is all sunshine and rainbows because of the upcoming elections.
I usually ignore these posts because they're usually full of it. Talking to suppliers they are worried due to lack of upcoming work. Maybe they know something. Good luck to all.

You can't change strategic direction and focus this often without really affecting the bottomline. It is expensive.
This company already has too much debt. They continue to have too high of a pension liability. Warranty costs are too high and continue to rise. The new UAW contract is a huge drain.
If sales start to plummet it is game over.
Ford will continue to miss on the earnings due to all the pressures I just mentioned. Which means the white collar salaried workforce will suffer the consequences.
Between 2024 and 2028 there will be major layoffs 10 times and then the company will go out of business in 2028 due to very poor quality products and increased competition. Good luck
