Thread regarding Belk layoffs

Stand up for your teams!

It's time for store managers to step up and champion their teams! Supporting and advocating for your staff is essential for creating a positive work environment. When managers take a stand, it fosters a sense of unity and motivation among team members. Together, we can build a culture where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute their best. Let’s make our workplaces a source of pride and positivity for everyone involved! Which means you have to be the one to give push back on some unnecessary B.S!

I can’t believe that I left 4 years ago, and that place was so absolutely AWFUL that I still check this site, out of curiosity and validation 😂 Y’all, it’s been bad for years. No one is going to stand up for you. It’s literally not part of the “culture”. Just get out. If you can, get out of retail, period. Your bank account and muscles and self worth with thank you ✌️

No respect for weak managers who will not speak up and push back on the cr-p that corporate comes up with.

the company has one foot in the ground and the other foot on a banana peel. I don't think "taking a stand" will do any good at this point.
