Why don't we have a Union for IT?

30% have to sign cards indicating support, then 50% +1 to get it approved via an election.

How many signatures do you need?
I briefly looked into what it takes to start one last year, specifically for California IT employees. Need a ton of signatures, which before the HQ move I figured would be impossible, but maybe now it would be possible...
What are we going to shut down or bring to a screeching halt?
