What happened to many of the Avaya Sales Engineers? It seems like many of them are being most effected from the layoffs over the last few quarters

Its almost like they found a buyer that doesn't need sales engineers. Or technical people to deploy/support the products.
Big cuts in Canada at the end of July, 50% of technical pre-sales gone. U.S. was also affected. How these changes will enable us to best support customers and set up the company for growth is left as an exercise for the reader to figure out.
To be expected under private equity when all is managed according to spreadsheets and the almighty “adjusted EBITDA”. It feels like the beginning of the end…
