Does anyone have information on which exact divisions or tech teams are affected by the upcoming layoffs? If anyone could provide details on specific teams, it would help us figure out if we need to start job hunting.

Congrats on the d-mbest post of the year on these boards. Technology enables profits it doesn't drive profits. Clearly, you have no idea what's going on around technology at Paramount. Maybe come out of your basement sometime and take a look around. If you didn't notice the cuts as relayed by the CEOs were focused on Tech, finance, Legal etc etc. It had nothing to do with driving profit. You just might be one of the people on the list. Nobody wants to work with everyone else is the problem guy/girl.

First of all, let's be clear the cuts in tech are not the result of the tech leadership whether Paramount Tech (PW) or Streaming (VH). The Pep boys gave both organizations unreasonable targets that they had to hit. The cuts will be broad because the % flowed down to each organization. It is going to be painful and if I am impacted it is what it is. You have 3 people to blame for this cut Manny, Moe and Jack. They clearly have no respect for how technology drives this company. If I am still here I am looking forward to Skydance leadership who wants to focus on tech.
Maybe I am bad. But how would an employer know if they don’t even interview me?

I have heard that Product teams are going to be impacted heavily across the divisions from VTG, NS, Pluto, etc.
Definitely should be hunting… I’ve been applying to jobs like a madman and largely not getting any responses. I have never seen a job market this bad.
I’m about to start applying to tech companies as a black pansexual trans disabled veteran with zim/zurg pronouns to see if that helps get me an interview. It’s tough out there.
Pretty much cut might be from every team . Percentage of cut might differ .
We should probably all be job hunting regardless.
Unfortunately, it's reasonable to assume each and every team under the Tech umbrella will experience cuts (do to the obvious undercurrent of the CEOs' and Phil's emails).
It's pretty much psychological torture at this point.
