Relocate or Quit: Fidelity Gives Some Employees Ultimatum
"The firm in September will start requiring employees to work two weeks per month in the office. Employees must comply or "voluntarily resign," Fidelity employees told Ignites." (Taken from recent article.)

But the Fidelity Jobs Instagram page shows co-----e tournaments and ping pong tables and getting coffee with your work buddy and IKEA like workspaces. Why on earth would anyone want to work from home when they could come into the office and do so much cool stuff with their besties?

So no layoffs until after tax season? Waiting until the end of the year pushes back the timeline. Why would they layoff anyone during tax season.

It is hard to comprehend how a "successful" firm could choke its employees as if they are worth nothing. Mainly since it isn't their fault you over hired during Covid!! Someone up the ranks doesn't know how to Budget and Forecast and Fid got sc--wed. You sc--wed yourself, so su-k it up and take the hit. Offer severance/buyouts and quit choking your people to death.

This is totally false.... some id--ts gambled during the pandemic and moved far away from the office thinking we would become 100% remote. Others decided (smartly) to take take their kids out of daycare and "work" while watching the kids to save major bank!

The party is over....
