If you got INCONSISTENT on your PR (30% did) and Low Achiever in 2023, pack your bags. Housecleaning coming after 9/6. And don't come back to me with "Name my source!" NDR signed.

I agree with @3vds+1uavOZUF... I don't give a sh!t anymore...

I have been saving money since 2019, when the SRD surprised so many good people, and doing just my job. No more going above and beyond... not worth the effort.

If you are young, stay no longer than a couple of years at Ford for the resume. Then jump ship.

IF you get a hint that your services are no longer required (because a manager doesn't like you or of your non-DEI status), then it might be possible to jump to another area of the company.

Unfortunately, many people with with very good performance rating were fired in the last 2 rounds of layoffs and the had no clue that they were on the chopping block.

I don't give a sh-t anymore really...if they want you gone there is nothing performance is going to do to save you. They put you on an impossible PIP or just shed you outright..either way there is no way to save yourself. Just do the meaningful work for as long as you can and don't spend your money.

TA doesn't mean cr-p in my experience. Was TA 3 of 4 last years before being let go in August 2022. I was clearly not on the friends and family list, and whatever BS algorithm BCG used to identify who got the axe resulted in me being shown the door. But they let a bunch of incompetent folks stay, they are still there.

Collecting unemployment if fired “for cause” is usually denied by the State of Michigan. You should file anyway, call it a layoff, and as long as Ford doesn’t fight your claim you will collect. Not much, but more than nothing.

Good. If all inconsistent performers and low achievers are let go soon, we will soon be rid od Bill Ford, Farley, Fields, Stern, Model e, Ford Next and canopy. Annual savings over $10 billion just there.

Performance feedback has already begun and no cuts have been made. I don't disagree that future cuts will be partly performance based and occur after 9/6, but I don't see them beginning shortly after 9/6 as your post implies. Clearly you're just another parasite single with nothing better to do.

Heard you can be denied from receiving unemployment (while you look for another job)if they can cite bad performance

Typo 25 million at $2.5 per engine for all I3/4 and v6 made since 2008.

So not fu--ing around on this one. It was so simple it should have been done years ago.

I got turfed because of my age and demographic and pension. I was still saving much more per year than my salary and benefits in my position as a TS black belt. So no one is safe especially when you were in ICE powertrain.

That said, you also have delusions of grandeur if you think you had two patents valued at 1/4 billion in savings.

@sfl I regret to inform you, you are being targeted. I have this this far too many times across my IT career. I've seen 20+ years of stellar employees suddenly get a poor performance review. And then the inevitable, here's a box to clean out your desk, and the escort out the front door. You're being targeted. Unquestionable. Please have an escape plan. And good luck!

I was achiever/top achiever for my entire career and still hit the curb in Aug 22. The Boston Consulting algorithm. I had 2 patents that probably saved the company 250 million dollars or more. Didn’t matter Farley still canned me.
