If you looked, all these boards are made up of other CEOs. It’s their little posse group. They’re not going to change.
That’s what keeps these corporate companies gainfully employing Americans. Very simple economics. Mary and the rest at the top of the hierarchy will not take a pay decrease due to bad policy. Once their compensations are threatened, your job is gone somewhere else where labor is significantly less.
One party is all about maximizing corporate profits.

The logic is sound. If you can move a whole factory and offshore thousands of jobs for the "employees" it's long overdue that the C Suite hasn't been tinkered with. Let's not stop there. I think a few Wall Street types and some high tech company CEOs aren't worth it either. Affordability for many things is just a board vote away.
Be careful what you wish for. I have Brazilians in my group at GM. Engineers and designers could easily be replaced. They tried it with India but the culture and skill levels were not compatible. This is not the case with Brazil. This is probably what GM will do as well. Race to the bottom!!!

I love this idea! She’s been making a mess of things for years. I don’t know why the board puts up with it.
