How else do you buy a 28B company AND keep Wall Street happy? Just like Oprah…. You get laid off, you get laid off, everyone gets laid off!!

Here is a list of the upcoming LRs:

  • February 2025
  • August 2025
  • December 2025
  • February 2026
  • August 2026
  • December 2026
  • February 2027
  • August 2027
  • December 2027

Cisco's forecast and roadmap only goes up to 3 years in the future. But most likely the same will happen in future years till Cisco is completely kaput.

If there are a couple of rate cuts, then maybe they can avoid it for optics - as you don’t want to start a new govt K or T with a series of layoffs.

Layoffs will continue. Chuck and his team are incapable of managing headcount effectively. This is life here. You either have to accept it or leave. Su-ks, I know.

We're already in a recession.

Legacy media reporting a recession depends on the Nov election.

Presuming T wins, have to wait for inauguration, then wait for a few policy changes, then media can report that T triggered a recession.

If K wins, media will report that the forthcoming war will somehow boost the economy and prevent the recession we're already in.

Economists and analysts have zero credibility. That is why you get kicked out of companies regardless of “strong” earnings call 😂

Expect Chuck to be gone by Feb 2025 but his replacement will layoff large numbers of deadwood to start with a clean slate to boost profits while revenues keep declining

Of course there will be another LR in February. Chuck is going to bend us over his knee and gives us more of that "financial discipline" he is famous for.
