Thread regarding Phillips 66 layoffs

Elliott???

It’s been almost a year since Elliott came on the scene and gave P66 a year to make meaningful progress towards its financial goals or face consequences.
I’m seeing very little to no progress towards these goals from where I’m sitting.
Has anyone heard anything?

To the dunce who said if you don’t like it, leave: many of our best and brightest have. Those left are mostly people like me getting close to retirement. It’s been years of instability and mismanagement with no end in sight. In times of chaos, it’s those with options that leave. Those that don’t have options or ambitions leave. We still have some good people but our collective pool of talent has been drained. Consultants have forced people out. Those with vision or the audacity to challenge McK, BCG, ELT and the bobble heads have been kicked to the curb. It is effed up for sure

Only consolation is that this will make a great movie one day.

Friends, don’t pout… Show some class and accept the fact that the blue collar workers produce income for the suites. It has been this way since the beginning of time!

Now, everyone head to the supervisor’s office for some cool swag!

You should really just leave the company if you think so little of it.

Honestly now. “BT NEVER WORKED AND IT RUINED MY SITE AND KICKED MY DOG” is getting so old.

Clear some space out for some people that will be part of the solution. Anonymous whining online is not a solution. Woe is me crying because leaders don’t like the nothing you bring to the table to help solve the problem is also not a solution.

Reality is we are recovering stock performance vs competitors. They are all transforming too. Could be a whole lot worse than it is now if we had done nothing.

How many sites and jobs will be on the chopping block if the company fails?

Yes, we are told at the useless Town Halls and the investors are told at earnings calls that BT is wonderful and has made the company a ton of money.
If this is the case, why is our stock price still lagging our 2 main competitors after more than 2 years of this BT bs?

The ideal scenario for Phillips 66 would be if they were acquired by another company!

More outsourcing, less whining.

What are you talking about?! We are told every time we get together at a town hall or on an earnings call that things are getting better. For the most part I think they are improving except for the morale of the people actually doing the work. BT seems to be having an impact on costs and the plants seem to be running better
