Come on Jerry Wascom must leave soon; he is 67. Neil Chapman likewise must be ready to leave and definitely Liam Mallon. When and who else?

The EM HiPo grooming system does not build or promote real leaders.
HiPo candidates are moved around different jobs that they do not understand and cannot lead, then constantly given false top rankings. There is no part of the HiPo system to distinguish id--ts from natural leaders. Selection and upward movement in the HiPo system is based on networking, sponsorship, and avoiding any bad event becoming traceable to a HiPo.
A true leadership development system would place HiPos into horrific unwinnable challenges and the ones who shine get moved upwards. At EM, if a HiPo somehow gets into a challenge, the HiPo is moved quickly such the the challenge cannot be blamed on the HiPo.
The latest EM response to the HiPo system producing babied mo--ns is to recruit outside hires straight into executive positions. Zero effort to fix the HiPo failing ladder.
Definitely think LMM is next to retire. Prob Bart or Gibbs replaces him.
Paul M’s replacement (DW) is not surprising but disappointing. Everyone knows he frequently displays poor leadership behaviors. CPM VP is seen as most senior GP VP and this is very questionable selection. As was KD for LNG VP
These guys are not leaders they are managers. And buddies of JMG
Paul was measurably the nicest VP. He will be missed.
Well that’s PMgarth going but he was one of the good ones.
The EM HiPo development system does not produce inspiring leaders. The HiPo system produces entitled mo--ns that would be PIPd if not sponsored.
Replace all Executives with outside hires.
N Chapman is one of the more inspiring leaders that we have. Now J Williams… so uninspiring, so boring and just not what we expect. We need some change but guess it’s Bart coming next
Will be good when we get rid of CE positions. They don’t add value as another layer. it just leads to more recycle and churn in the organization instead of focusing on work that drives value.
Or is this unique corporate structure another one of our competitive advantages!! Ha!
Doesn't matter who retires. It's like shark teeth. There's always another redundant row ready to shift forward and take a bite.
They should not retire, they should be involuntarily replaced with BTC incompetent low paid remote workers.
Lead by example, move all the Executive positions to BTC. Biggest savings per position possible, so no brainer.
Why? There are like ~0.75k people at the trough (hint - all of your vp, director, president, senior vp etc. folks are there making oink oink sounds as they brag about running up their frequent flyer miles and send your job to Suresh and Bindi. Likely he’s secured some sort of dirt on the big cheese that keeps him in the money
