That sounds like a solid investment - buying shares of a company who has issues with money laundering. Was Waldo the CFO when those shares were bought.......hmmm - kind of like the bonds Schwab is struggling to get out from under

This was mentioned months ago as the likely result and TD Bank even sold Schwab shares to help cover the fine. https://www.investmentnews.com/industry-news/td-sets-aside-26b-for-money-laundering-fines-sells-schwab-shares/256650#:~:text=Canada's%20second%2Dbiggest%20bank%20said,Ameritrade%20Holding%20Corp.%20to%20Schwab.
We just recently completed training with sections on money laundering. I wonder why? LOL.
It’s funny how they make us go through all of these training videos with regard to ethics and morality, but then the leader ship are the ones that are actually committing the fraud and doing illegal activity. It’s priceless.
We lose more than that annually on our MBS.
While TD Ameritrade, Inc. is now owned by Charles Schwab, TD Bank Group (TD) is not directly owned by Schwab. However, as a result of the acquisition of TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation by Schwab, TD Bank Group received an approximately 13.5% stake in Schwab, which consists of 9.9% voting common shares and the remainder in non-voting common shares. So, while TD Bank Group and Charles Schwab are not directly affiliated, there is a connection between the two companies due to the acquisition of TD Ameritrade.
