Bankruptcy Rumors

Hearing rumors in DC office that bankruptcy is being actively considered to eliminate all debt including pension obligations and to enable complete restructuring of company in non-union States and foreign Countries. Anyone else hearing similar?

My understanding in chatting with a Boeing ex-executive is that the plan is to sell more stock, take on more debt to enable many executives to leave Boeing with large severance packages BEFORE pushing the bankruptcy button. Makes sense to me as the executives have always been more motivated to putting money in their pockets than anything else.

Anybody hear about what American Airlines did a number of years ago (and even did twice that I remember)? Exactly that. After a steady decline they gamed themselves to go "bankrupt" and defaulted out of all obligations a normal corporation would have. They took the pension plan and stuck it to the American taxpayers pension liquidation fund from a bankruptcy of convenience. From then on, they are "pure" with the shareholders. Nobody else.

The Rumor I Heard Was
reptilian humanoids have infiltrated Boeing's BoD and in-fact, are behind
all of our troubles, including this labor strike.
They want to drive Boeing into bankruptcy
in order to prevent our company’s deployment of antigravity technologies
that would allow our species to travel to their star system almost instantaneously

Now I don’t have any documentation to prove this FACT
But this makes a lot more sense than an arbitrary bankruptcy rumor.

Nothing happens without purpose, so this makes a lot more sense.
Pulse I heard it with my own ears, so it’s firsthand knowledge.
Trust Me:

Yes I heard the same. This will give them every reason that need to file bankruptcy and be able to move the jobs out. Hearing that are going to triple in size in Kansas and South Carolina is getting 2 new programs to build.

Actually BA is finalizing a new stock offering of $10 billion to stave off bankruptcy. Even if the strike would end today the problems at BA will not be fixed. The Global slowdown is real and the slowdown is an obvious big problem for Boeing in the next 72 months. Cuts are coming across Boeing commercial strike or no strike.

No. We are working on quite the opposite. Quit spreading misinformation. We need a couple more weeks for the vendors to catch up, then we will bring the Machinists back. Their expense is virtually nothing in the big scheme of things. Big raise, 10 years of service credited to the pension plan, but still closed, then back to work.
