It looks like the "Steve Jobs head in a jar" was every bit as accurate as OP for the time frame specified.

CR is still in the people directory. When is his exit day? Sorry, I missed the Cisco Beat.

I heard they have Steve Jobs head in a jar like on Futurama and his head will become CEO of Cisco. He's already familiar with Cisco's trademarks like iPhone and IOS. Morbo will report on it next week. There's even a rumor Nixon's head will become the Chief Offensive Security Officer. You can't win with just defense.

Dear CR,
Thank you for your remarkable leadership, which has guided us through countless challenges and successes.
Your vision and innovation have left an indelible mark on the company, setting us on a path of growth and sustainability.
We deeply appreciate the culture of collaboration and trust you fostered, inspiring everyone to strive for excellence.
Under your direction, we achieved milestones we once thought were beyond our reach.
Your ability to balance ambition with empathy has made you not only a respected leader but also a role model.
As you step down, your legacy will continue to shape our future, motivating us to build on your achievements.
We wish you all the best in your new chapter and thank you for everything you’ve done for us.

"Signs suggest that CR may be moving on to pursue a political career" He won't last in Ga. He will be outed for the absolute lib he is. Once it's pointed out the mindless support of the left's causes all he will be good for is the court reporters job in crapsville.

delusional. If he didn't leave at the beginning of FY25 then he wouldn't make a move until FY26 at the earliest.

Yes, and Gary will announce another 15% headcount cut before this year end.

I think they'll announce the real reason we acquired Splunk was because CR and GS are secretly in love

It won’t be announced to employees first - it will be a public announcement like in an earning call or similar and then internally. There may be some shakeup happening or maybe they really figured out that employees are hyper-frustrated and will talk through it ? I feel it might be another acquisition or some partnership with another failure like intel.

@1lai+1uUszfpW They have 7 days to announce it. If it’s happening, then they’ll do it Wednesday after market close.

This most likely would have to be announced at an earnings call. Legally the Cisco board must notify the SEC privately before any changes become public as it will effect the stock price.

While this move would be excellent (at lease departure of CR) for Cisco, it simply cannot be "announced" during an internal all hands sort of call.

Hello, my name is bad. Let me introduce you to my successor - worse. The board should have stripped chuck's ability to make any more decisions after that mo--n maria was canned.

Some of yall never see the writing on the wall. Gary has been popping up a lot more(the last beat for example). Why would it be a surprise if he became our new ceo is beyond me. Things change all the time. Stop acting shocked or like you guess something riveting and post only useful and un troll like stuff here and not things like the id--ts who keeps saying RTP is closing. I think you better start saying SJ is closing bc again writing on the wall.

Signs suggest that CR may be moving on to pursue a political career, similar to his hero "Bubba/Slick Wi---e". If he moves on then you can expect him to take his golden parachute and as the "bubbas" before him spend his days trying to join the PGA circuit. CR is very good at hitting ba--s with clubs. Either way, this likely isn't the only leadership change to be announced. We should expect significant restructuring in the networking division, which has struggled since JD's departure mainly due to a lack of guidance and leadership. JD left behind a team that some may view as underperforming and mentally challenged when it comes to technical guidance. It's probable that G2 will wave his "AI Sparkle Stick", sprinkling some his AI magic dust around making networking appear innovative again. As we go into the next few weeks let's all join virtual hands and sing Kumbaya as we pause to drink our coffee!
