I’m sure there are small examples where roles are so difficult to hire for they need H1B programs to extend the candidate pool. But the program is mostly abused by technology companies to save money.

The H1B program needs an entire revamp. Someone with zero intent to assimilate should not be in the US more than 3 years. The rest - leeches and locusts.
