Launch Schedule Silence

The F3 is supposed to launch by the end of the year. Less than 90 days and no news. Has to be one of a combination of the following.

  1. ) There is something wrong still with the F3 bird and further work needs done.
  1. ) They don’t have insurance yet for launch
  1. ) they don’t have a rocket secured for the launch
  1. ) they can’t get on a launch schedule before year end

An announcement would at least be a small morale boost and perhaps stabilize the amazing stock price we have

All the competition has to be affecting the ROI estimates. Viasat doesn't have a good reputation with consumers. One only needs to do a Google search to see that.

I would say the launch issues are not fixed looks like another year to wonder, meanwhile the competition is getting good. AST & Ligado seems to have undercut ViaSat, ditcjing the 500 mil on the contract and instead starting a new one in place for Ligados MMS L Band. ViaSat needs to get some ba--s and speak up!!!

At least my points make sense. Nice 10 year old like comeback though to mask how incorrect you are.

Ok so in Q2 the started thermal vacuuming testing and completed it in Q3. How does that make it wrong? They still haven’t announced a launch date of this year so that satellite can be in service by mid late next year. Thermal vacuum testing completion does not prove they have locked down launch rocket, launch insurance or launch dare

You are wrong. This is what guru said in the May earnings call—

So on F3, in terms of schedule and where we are, we continue to expect to bring F3 into service in mid to late calendar year 2025, which is a little more than a year from now. And a key milestone, which is thermal vacuum testing is expected to begin this quarter on the F3 spacecraft. And then in terms of ViaSat-3 F2, we continue to anticipate bringing F2 into service in late calendar year 2025.
