After the notification in August came out that they were closing the Jacksonville office in July 2025 and closing Denver in July of 2026, my manager and their manager sat down and said "we wanted to give plenty of time notice for the employees...blah blah blah". NOTHING they do is for employees - it's all for the Executives and board members to get bigger bonuses.
Yesterday a notice came out that we will be meeting with our managers sometime between Oct 28 and Nov 8 to get our packages....

Because they never said that? I mean really it’s only been clearly communicated by some lower level leadership. The smartest thing with the announcement should have been the office will be closing in July 2026 and depending on business need if you are not offered relocation your end date will be between q2 2025 and q2 2026. I’m making up the first date I don’t think anyone’s knows that yet. But really this has been a completely communication mess since it started. The worst being communicating Denver before the Accenture announcement. That hardly required any brain cells to know that was ridiculous to do.
If you read the FAQs from August...it clearly states Denver would know their end date no later than July 2025 or sooner...I never understood why employees thought they had jobs in Denver until 2026...
Some Denver folks are offered to relocate to Charlotte, not sure if that’s the case with all the teams.
So people who read emails and don’t spread misinformation are HR/bootlickers?
It’s embarrassing to think that someone correcting a false and harmful narrative is a “bootlicker”.
As of last I heard your end date will be determined by your immediate leadership depending on what makes sense for you and the business it won’t be as clean cut as you said no you’re gone on this date with everyone else.
HR/bootlickers have entered the chat.
You’re reading it wrong. That timeframe is when you’ll know your dates. The message clearly states that….you’ll get the formal relo offer after the first of the year, this timeframe is to give you the dates IF you were to decline the relo.
This type of overreaction and flat out false accusation is a HUGE part of the problem with our culture.
For what it’s worth… I think the meeting will be either your job is being eliminated and your last date will be X date, or we will offer you relocation to move to Frisco by Y date but if you choose not to your separation date will be Z date.
But …We can’t make an informed decision without the relocation package offer which probably won’t be known to us until late January or early February and they will say don’t respond until April 4th - which is too late for many with school age kids to relocate. The majority of those taking severance over relocation will probably be as of June 2025.
But as the other commenter said no one said you’d be here for those 2 years, that was when the office would close. Many will leave before then either on their own or via relocation or severance.
They never said that you would be there to see it right?
