It took a few years for the Execs to realize that when it came to being hired or being promoted DEI really stood for 'Didn't Earn It'.....
Good. That sh-t was a distraction (I wonder how long it took JR to accept this). F5's issues were never about the place being unwelcoming or exclusive.
They needed a strong, sales-focused leader to hire a strong, engineering leader that delivered a 2nd and 3rd substantial revenue streams. Instead, they got a financially-oriented (not the same as sales-focused) CEO who hired a McKinsey consultant to run product into the ground.
Executives figured this out from conversations that happened a year ago. In another year, the same will likely happen to BTO and others like it when they realize it is not working or they can offshore it.
About time. Agile has been tossed too
