SVPs and some VPs have already been given the word to start making the next list. First draft before mid November.
The remaining $200M-$300M isn't going to spend itself. My apologies for using B instead of M in a previous post.

consolidate and optimize, still Cisco managers dont work 4 hours a day
Many managers in organizations provide no value. Indeed, some mgmt. positions can be vacant for 6-12 months with no loss of productivity, ergo, the position is useless.
Let those 14,000 manager go, they will not be missed.
PS: If they haven't saved up, they may need to sell their homes and move. Good bye.
Seattle will be glad to see them leave town, they are parasites and do not contribute to society. It's the worker bees and professionals and hourlies at the lower level who do all the work, not these 14,000 mgrs.
We can layoff half the mgmt staff and we will be more effective..especially at the vp and above levels
If we LR even 5% of our managers we will be making quick decisions and fail quickly
For over a decade I had to be on instant messaging to get my new first priority every 15 minutes. Their decisions lead to programs overrunning by factors of dozens. How much more quickly do you think decisions will be made with less management and how much more of a fail could they be?

That is nothing its probably only about 6% of the total manager population in Amazon , they have millions of employees
Cisco needs to reduce headcount to remain profitable with declining revenues each quarter
