All the people saying it is a vaporware, what do you think the BETA customers are testing with?

It supports only a small segment and the plan is to expand over time.

Security is doing extremely well since TG returned. look no further than FW turnaround that added relevance to a dying product. Now hypershield will be a massive success and change the entire industry in the process and boost core networking in the process.
cry all you want, but security is a bright spot

All of the hyper products will likely follow the course of the grandfather product called Hyperflex ! Seamless upgrades, scalability and reliability at the core. Oh wait it was ki-led after 2 successful years of transforming the industry.

Really the person thinking we should call 2 new products and also call them Hypersomemumbojumbo should be canned.

Cisco Hypershield is a high-concept, software only security product.

  1. It does not yet exist.
  2. It will compete with Cisco's core security products
  3. It cannabalizes Cisco SDWAN, Secure Access, Firepower, TALOS, etc.

It will confuse customers and create more opportunity for Fortinet, Palo Alto, HPE, Microsoft and others to eat Cisco's lunch

Hype Shield = vaporware

are you kidding me? we are 30%+ down Q/Q and you are claiming we are doing better? how many customers does hypershield have? how many activations on secure access - beyond financial engineering to embed free licenses and claim $100M revenue? what are you smoking?

I remember when networking was in Cisco's DNA. Oh - DNA - that was another failed game changer.

Cisco is trying extra hard to not miss the security and ai bus, but it might be too late.
