Someone I know just weened themselves off Designer/Server and started using python/pandas, along with some data lakes.
I am so proud of them.
The amount of fires they had to put out due to the out-dated bullsh-t has driven them to this point. I've tried for years to get them off Alteryx to improve their own career.
The company's own products did a better job than me at selling them off it!
You should look seriously into Knime, Tableau Prep, or Enzo. See what fits your needs. Things are only going to get worse from here.
The affordable alternatives to Alteryx are hard to ignore. Knime, Rapidminer, Power BI.
As a former developer at Alteryx, I feel sad for anyone who is land-locked inside the ecosystem that is Designer Desktop and Server.
Please move to another no-code platform or learn to code yourself.
