LOL! Ford Labs..... Just another failure by Ford!! So glad I left.
Once Farley is ousted, all of the money losing make work projects that exist merely to create a facade for Wall St. that we are innovative and creative, better come to an end.
Ford pretends it has teams acting like “start-ups” but anyone who has worked at a true start-up company knows what a joke it is.
At a true start-up company there are highly intelligent team players who all wear multiple hats; roles and tasks are fluid. At fake Ford start up teams, everyone has a box, heaven help you if you step out of the box. Ford can’t help it, most of the management team has been a cubicle dwelling one cog in a box their whole career. They don’t even recognize that they have been in a box their whole career.
Observe how quickly the smart talented new hires leave.
Ford just promotes mediocrity. The old useless promotes the new useless no end in sight.
Talent is always welcome in Model e, which is still the lead organization for Ford's future. I advise looking at internal job posts and transfer to Model e.
