Feeling hopeful

I think yesterday’s Town Hall was great and enjoyed their interactions. Walt has shared some humbling experiences and I admire him for his vulnerability. Rick seems like he does care but his communication people should really work with him on his hands during a town hall. He did so much steepling, it could make him seem ingenious. Having his hands down, or used in an expressive manner would make him seem more like a people person/open vs. authoritative - which as a new CEO, you would want. For now, I am going to give the benefit of the doubt, hope they hold true to their word, and embrace the bright outlook of Schwab. After all, I do love being a Schwabbie.

I know people will down vote this so bad or have horrible comments to say to me but that is okay as I won’t be checking back!

Walt is more of a robber baron. Takes from the employees and give to the EC, Chuck, and himself. Can you imagine him pitching this: “I know we have had multiple layoffs due to us over hiring and making bad mistakes with our bonds. To correct this let’s lay off more people and cut their bonuses. However, let’s give them a cherry on top and give Chuck a 12% raise. I know he’s in his 80s and has over 10 billion but he needs more, just like me. Now I’m going to “retire” and join the board so I can sit back do nothing and collect even more”

WALDO is a NICE RICH guy - he is smart enough to know when it is time to leave so he can enjoy the millions he has made. The board will have to deal with Rickly ricardo-he already is as personable or believable

Walt is a nice guy. Sadly that's what did him in. Lazy entitled Shwabbies took advantage of his good nature and wrecked the company he spent years helping Chuck build. Rick is a McKinsey guy and the're all about the numbers. The party is over. You all have yourselves to blame for the sad state of your lives to comem

I seem to recall an optimistic Walt talking enthusiastically about remote work about a year ago and how much its benefitted the firm -- Then two weeks later, RTO was announced. LOL
