Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Cisco's transparency problem

The big issue with Cisco is its lack of transparency. Yes, the company announced layoffs in advance but then kept everything else under wraps. It boils down to management not trusting us and loving to keep us in the dark. This is not how you empower your employees, but it is how you breed resentment.

@jvs+1uMl9o1k do you think the level of posts here would be so high if there was transparency? Give trust to receive trust instead of meaningless weasel words in your Cisco Beat

I've never worked at a company big or small where the executive level decision making process was made known to the lower ranks in detail, and that includes companies where I reported directly to executives.

Given the posts on this site, why would you expect leadership to entrust you with secrets?
