Suncor offers them a range of executive positions and upward mobility within Canada, something that’s long since been farmed out to Americans in IOL.

So far 90% of the people leaving for Suncor are the “good ones” who cared about people. It’s not looking good.

They have, like every other corporation in the world, the inept and unqualified running things in this day and age. Like the last poster said, they don't have a parent company and I'll add they have been at it successfully for a long while.

Suncor isn't perfect and as most companies do, they all have issues but maybe not being lorded over by XOM and treated second class or squeezed for cash flow leads to better opportunities for those people.
