This guy or gal gets it! The fact that our senior leaders have the audacity to go on CNBC and other financial networks to refer to our sugar water and salty snacks as "affordable luxury" to justify price increases is all you need to know about where this company is right now. Its that type of hubris and detachment from everyday consumers that has directly led to the deterioration of market share that we see today.

USA is under capitalism not communism so the govt cant tell businesses how to run People are supposed to vote with their dollars in capitalism and companies that are not price/quality competitive should fail but it doesnt work if consumers keep paying the crazy prices or if there are monopolies w. no cheaper choices. The real problem is out of control corporate greed just like with the the price gouging. They save money by offshoring but then they dont use that savings to reduce prices or increase wages they just make huge profits at the consumers and workers expense.
the press should ask Donald Trump for his opinion and this never ending down sizing and moving jobs off shore.
