Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Moving Jobs to India and Mexico

Finance, Supply Analyst, IT, and Supply Planner Jobs will more than likely be moved to India or Mexico. Employees being pushed out of their jobs during the PBNA 1st rounds of layoffs this past week (Sept 2024) are being shifted out of the US. The transitions will be happening until Feb 2025. Compare US current Job Open Positions to India and Mexico, it's clear the company is transitioning out US workers. Go to the companies website and search for jobs in Latin American / Mexico and India: https://www.pepsicojobs.com/main/our-locations/latinamerica/mexico https://www.pepsicojobs.com/india/jobs

I don't know that it's saving a "few" dollars. The total compensation difference between India and the US is astoundingly in India's favor. However, the difference in quality is also pretty staggering - in the US's favor.

I’m actually one of the people whose job is being sent down to Mexico as of July. Found out Feb 2025. Been with the company for 10 years. I’ve had all outstanding end of the year reviews, have a strong network, and recommendations from all my supervisors. Nothing at all to do with quality of work, PepsiCo just wants to save a few dollars, by outsourcing out of the country. So I’m out of a job, with a company I thought I would retire with. That I’ve busted a-s for. Just since Feb 2025, this has happened to over 100 solid employees. It’s heartbreaking honestly.

@1ysb+1uJDt51K - Conveniently, Ma Indra's husband owned a LOT of stock in the companies we were outsourced to.

No wonder North America sales and profits are down. No jobs, no buying power, no purchases

During Indra’s time back office jobs were being moved to India and Mexico. Ramon has taken it to the next level. Several high paying jobs have moved out of US

The comment about Indra moving jobs to India is ignorant and racist. Ramon has moved more US jobs out of the country.
