The cr-ppy job market. That's it. The only thing that's keeping me at PepsiCo is the fact that there are so few available jobs and most of them are currently lowballing applicants because they know they can. Outside of that, nothing keeps me here. I know several others who are in a similar position. People are fed up and want out.

But aren't our current government leaders telling us this is the best economic times in history??
This nasty organization knows most of us are stuck working in this mess due to the horrid economic conditions we are all suffering through. But the economy is cyclical and, perhaps after the US election, things will begin to ease up. If there is a solid recovery and hiring, this rancid place will suffer, at least in my opinion, a massive exodus. You cannot treat people like s**t and expect to get away with it forever. I am near normal retirement age. Any other place I’d probably stick it out. But the work environment on this sewer is so toxic and depressing I can’t do it and began interviewing again. I have a third meeting with a smaller local organization next week. Hopefully it will be my ticket out of this nightmare. Should it work out, I will also derive enormous pleasure giving them little notice. Treat these rats the same way they’ve treated the thousands of employees whose lives they upend every year during their constant job cutting. Good riddance!
