Managers are inexperienced & uncaring. Executives are the same. Don't put your career on the line to come here. Expectations are not realistic and you're expected to be a mind reader.

The governance team is incompetent and are nothing more that admin paper pushers. Feni is a joke and a terrible manager. Anyone who has any real marketable skills has already left her team. Glad I got out when I did and found a better role outside TD. She and her team will have a helluva time in the next couple years. External examiners are like sharks that smell blood and the incompetent Audit and ORM teams are scurrying to cover themselves.

One thing you cannot get back is your time
This bank su-ks the life out of people
Very bad regulatory managers needs to be fired
Then only it will get better
Feds needs to look into this and talk to these employees
People that are no longer should count the blessings. The people left (if you can find someone to help) are just having more and more work heaped on them. Searching for a PM for a project and the goal posts keep changing, messaging is changing. Senior managers are really bad and most should be put on to pasture. They are silencing junior workers that have ideas that could be used and not allowing a think of the box solution sessions or even better the senior managers steal your idea and present them to the VP . Yes they take full credit for it
in fairness, there are comments like the ones that you read here about every bank. The fact of the matter is, there is no perfect place to work, That said, I can tell you that this TD is truly a second-tier bank, and you are going to have a very hard time leaving TD for a prestigious investment bank, unless you have a strong professional network.
Managers take away your life especially is your are under regulatory area under Anzea. Managers drain every drop of your blood that you made
They get credit for that, top down approach no individual talent
So old way if thinking I am the boss I said so you do so
That ex occ examiner they hired he didn’t even passed the probation period with OCc
Here they treat him like a king and he cannot even produce any work
Working with this team is tiring cannot blame the team it is their managers fault just dumping the work
Favorites will be favored and the rest will work work and fail miserably at their personal life and quit their jobs
They lie with HR
I worked there for 7 years and finally resigned last year but I stopped being a customer back in 2019. They do not treat their customers or employees well and the management has no vision or clear plan. Sad because the company was once a decent place to work.
This is the worst bank to work for or be a customer at. I am an ex employee and I can tell you that the mismanagement from being an employee and having to self train yourself. PM are not helpful and only looking after themselves and not doing anything to address internal or external issues. Won't give this bank a penny of my money or another minute in my life. Run - just run
Longtime staffer. It breaks my heart to see what this company has become. I hope when our new CEO steps into the role he can fix things but I think it will take years for the company culture to recover.
This place is a NIGHTMARE!!! They don't deserve quality people.
