If you didn’t get at least 8 weeks severance, call a lawyer

There’s some folks who weren’t offering their 60 days severance as required by CA WARN notice. (90 for New York). If you weren’t offered this because you were remote, it’s time to lawyer up.

You also are signing away your rights to sue them if they did something illegal with respect to the merger. If you owned a significant amount of stocks, I would talk to a lawyer before the 21 day deadline

its a fed law too so something is up so sixty days should apply to remote that way

I do think you needed to be a FTE for six months
