Im still very much driving business and planning to retire next year. Looking for advice on how to volunteer for a layoff package and what a sales layoff package looks like in terms of base vs total target cash and unvested rsu's.

I've had those conversations. Let it be known, they'd likely be happy to oblige.
I'd wait till Cisco announces the next LR, then approach your boss with a "if there is someone you are trying to save I'd be willing to volunteer"
+1, ask your name to be put on the LR list. You have nothing to lose, and you have made your wishes known. You can likely save a job in next cycle
Quiet quitting lets my team mates down. Not interested in that.
Quiet quit and do as little as possible and hope to be LRd, take the package and retire. I’m in similar position as I think is half the company.. Don’t lift a pinky finger more than you have to and work at your hobbies in downtime and invest $30 in a mouse jiggler.
Start quiet quitting and don’t make your numbers and enjoy the rest of the upcoming spring.
you can ask your manager to put you on the list for the next LR. If your manager is not the decision maker, he/she can let know the decision maker about your wish. I know two people who asked and they got laid off. One in February and the other one this month.
Having seen more of these LRs than I care to, the only times Cisco asked for "volunteers" were with the early retirement packages.
The scuttlebutt about not accepting volunteers is that this can sc--w up their carefully calculated age distribution to avoid getting sued.
