Weekly meetings after LR

Is it required to attend weekly meetings after I was deemed redundant ?

After LR notice, Cisco takes away all the tools you need to do productive work

With infosec out of control, they do that on a weekly basis.

Cisco only expects you to help transition your work to other team members.

You may just be getting an old repeating invite or your manager is blindly using the group alias for the meeting. The reality is you probably are not wanted at these meetings.

Go into your calendar and decline the meeting.

Problem solved!

I actually did have these weekly meetings before I left mostly because my manager was a pedantic knob. I know other people on different teams that were affected didn't do these it comes down to each manager. Yes I could have told him where to go but wanted to exit with grace .

Most definitely not. Stay off of webex unless you’re meeting with an internal recruiter. If your manager is asking you to join meetings, have them put it in writing (they’d avoid that), don’t make it easy for them to pull you into things.

Your job is to find a job. If your manager isn't supporting that, go to HR. No manager should be expecting this at all and they have been told this. If they followed the "script" they also articulated this to you. Whether they did, or whether you actually heard it in the midst of the stress is a different story but what doesn't change is your job is to find one right now.

Yeah, don’t attend anything and don’t train anyone - if you’re LR then it’s company headache to figure out things you were doing !

You are definitely not required to train a colleague.

As part of the LRs, I’m non-working employee. So do I still need to do the transition as my manager asked me to? He’s asked me to train my colleague.

Definitely not - if you read the materials provided you’re not required to perform any work.

Nope. That would be considered working and you have been relieved of your duties.
