Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Step one: get rid of the entire ELT

Step two: get competent people to replace them.
Step three: profit.

It’s about to get fu--y

New roles with impossible quotas to make any money are about to be announced.

Layoffs will not be needed.

Starving staff will abandon ship.

Brace yourself.

Quarter hasn't closed. BOD wouldn't vote on AIP yet. Don't believe the hype

Alan Masarek is still around, so your AIP will be in his pocket when he finally leaves.

Wouldn't be the first time. Don't be surprised. The BOD and E-team can do whatever they want.

No AIP after everything we've been through? This would be BEYOND unwise of leadership to the Nth degree. There would be a massive internal revolt and if you thought things were bad now, see what happens when you hype something the past three quarters and then pull it back at the 11th hour. See what your workers do afterwards.

I'm betting there will not be an AIP. Another bet is that we won't see the "job definitions" for at least another 6 months.

Rumours now that won't happen
