Just found out we’re reorganizing. About 1/3 the state is moving to a squad on Monday. People are obviously pi---d off.

the re-org is being rolled out piece by piece, different accounts are doing it a their own speed. do not expect that everything changes overnight.
Now; is this re-org warranted? it probably is. are they doing it the right way? most likely not.
I have seen nothing but chaos at the account level, and when it comes down to how the accounts are presenting this to their people... its all over the place.
so, time will tell.
OP
This did not happen on Monday - is it postponed?
Where jobs and money are hard to come by, people in need, work odd hours, multiple jobs, take up lower paying jobs, anything to feed and take care of their families and pay their bills. India is no different - world is smaller and human needs are more similar than we can imagine.

We have lots of employees in the Philippines also. It does work. It is already working.
More and more of us will get cut.
“Rightshoring” is the name of the initiative pushing that within Gainwell. I have been intimately involved. And we are hiring in India and the Philippines at a significant rate. And leadership wants it to be faster.
Don’t sit back and think that it can’t happen. Or that you are safe. It is happening and you are not safe.

Offshore will work. It already is working. We have thousands employees in India and that number is growing. They are willing to work our hours.
I work with them all the time.
Offshore won't work - Opposite side of the clock. You think the offshore people want to work nights?
What a dump this place is
Bring on the layoffs. The sooner I’m gone from this place the better.
This company is such a POS.
Corrupt VPs need to be behind bars.
Project flywheel in action.
Next step in the process is to layoff/ replace with offshore resources. Let the turmoil begin next month!
